On September 13, 2022, both the Federal and BC Provincial Government announced that Monday, September 19, 2022 will be declared a National Day of Mourning in honour of Queen Elizabeth II. The CVRD Sports & Aquatic Centres will be closed to the public with the exception of evening ice rentals.
