The 2024-25 Assist Fund season will be launching today, August 1st. In preparation, Hockey Canada Foundation would like to provide some important information and updates below. In addition, please see the Assist Fund Member Guide attached HERE.
The Assist Fund commits to distributing $1 million to kids across Canada to help them access the game of hockey. Once this limit has been reached, the Assist Fund application portal will be closed, and no further applications will be accepted for the remainder of the season. In addition, any applications which were submitted but were not assessed prior to the limit being reached will not be approved, regardless of whether they would have otherwise met HCF’s eligibility criteria.
The Assist Fund will no longer be distributing payments to MHAs via cheque. All payments will be made by direct deposit or e-transfer. Payments will be distributed by November 30th. Please see the links below for MHAs to add electronic payment information.
Please click here for the link to apply. If you have any questions regarding the Assist Fund, please reach out to Hockey Canada Foundation Coordinator, Claire McGrath, at [email protected]. We are thrilled to help more kids get on the ice!
